Dunn's Cider Mill produces fresh apple cider and cider donuts. It is located two miles south of Kansas City, Missouri and one mile east of the Kansas state line. The Cider Mill Cafe serves lunch from 11-2 Tuesday - Saturday, September to Thanksgiving. A group dining room is available by reservation. Also offered for sale in season are locally grown apples, apple butter, Amish made jams, cookbooks, gift items, and pumpkins. The scarecrow contest is held in October and is open to individuals, families, youth and scout groups. First prize is $100.
